The MPEG-4 Part 14 (known as MP4 also) format was developed in 2001 and based on the QuickTime File Format. MP4 files can contain metadata, and also supports Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP). Generally this is the most univerally supported format, and is perfect for uploading video to Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and pretty much any HTML5 website.
How you can convert gif to mp4
